INTEGRATED MANAGEMENT SYSTEM POLICY
The Management Board of FAMAK S.A., with regard to the Integrated Management System, has established the following Integrated Management System Policy applicable throughout the Company:
THE PRIMARY OBJECTIVE OF FAMAK S.A.’S ACTIVITIES IS TO ACHIEVE A RECURRING POSITIVE FINANCIAL RESULT BY MANUFACTURING PRODUCTS AND PROVIDING SERVICES OF A QUALITY THAT MEETS CUSTOMER EXPECTATIONS, MAINTAINING A REPUTATION AS A TRUSTWORTHY PARTNER, WHILE ENSURING FULL COMPLIANCE WITH ENVIRONMENTAL PROTECTION REGULATIONS AND GUARANTEEING OCCUPATIONAL HEALTH AND SAFETY.
We intend to achieve this objective by:
- Continuously improving the quality management system in accordance with PN-EN ISO 9001:2015 by:
- maintaining continuous contact with customers in order to identify and understand their requirements,
- establishing mutually beneficial relationships with business partners,
- ensuring that each employee is responsible for the quality achieved at their workplace,
- cooperating with all suppliers of materials and services to ensure the maintenance of high quality standards throughout the entire supply chain,
- increasing the effectiveness and efficiency of processes in terms of added value, in order to meet customer requirements while simultaneously reducing costs.
- Ensuring the effective operation of the environmental management system in accordance with PN-EN ISO 14001:2026 by:
- raising environmental awareness among employees and contractors, with particular emphasis on addressing climate change and protecting local biodiversity and ecosystems,
- regularly assessing environmental conditions, climate-related and operational risks, and ensuring appropriate resources and measures to minimize them,
- minimizing negative environmental impacts throughout the entire life cycle of products and services, including by reducing atmospheric emissions, implementing rational waste management, and optimizing the consumption of electricity, water, and natural resources,
- supervising, measuring and enforcing environmental requirements applicable to suppliers, contractors and partners throughout the entire value chain,
- systematically implementing processes for planning and safely managing changes that may have an environmental impact..
- Ensuring the effective operation of the occupational health and safety management system in accordance with PN-ISO 45001:2024 by:
- continuously improving occupational health and safety performance,
- ensuring safe working conditions, including the protection of health and the prevention of work-related injuries and ill health,
- fostering a sense of personal responsibility among all employees for performing work in a safe manner that does not pose a risk to health,
- ensuring the participation of employees and their representatives in decision-making processes within the occupational health and safety management system,
- utilizing employees’ initiatives and ideas in the field of occupational health and safety.
- Consistently developing the Integrated Management System by:
- engaging top management in the maintenance, review and improvement of the system,
- operating the Company in compliance with applicable standards and legal requirements,
- identifying, monitoring and eliminating hazards, reducing risks, and pursuing opportunities for improvement in the areas of quality, environmental protection and occupational health and safety,
- cooperating with contractors and suppliers who have established competencies and meet our requirements concerning quality, environmental protection and occupational health and safety,
- developing human potential and raising quality, environmental and occupational health and safety awareness through systematic training,
- providing stakeholders with reliable information about the Company’s activities.
